This original collage was created during Melbourne's 2020 lockdown period, a year which the world experienced the Covid 19 pandemic and we adjusted to a change in life that most of us have never experienced before.

This piece encompasses my feelings of the time:

A time where our city stood still, when I retreated from the outside world and felt like the mushrooms were growing around us, while we all stopped and waited......

The two women in this work represent my self and my former self, reality and fantasy!

I have used numerous images from my collection of books with a watercolor background to create this piece.
